Opportunities exist to take part in events organised by the Congregational Federation at both local and national levels as well as activities arranged by the Bedfordshire Ecumenical Committee.

We are beginning to hold events at the church now the CoronaVirus Pandemic
has eased and with the vaccination programme, but still taking care and being cautious as
one is not always aware of those who may have unlying health issues.

CHRISTMAS TREE FESTIVAL 2022
FRIDAY 2 DECEMBER OPEN 3.30PM - 5.30PM
SATURDAY 3 DECEMBER OPEN 1.00PM - 5.00PM
SUNDAY 4 DECEMBER OPEN 1.00PM - 5.00PM
To be helped by the Chicksands and Henlow Military Wives Choir, who will be singing at the 5.00pm Carol Service to be held on Sunday 4 December.
The chosen charity for this year is: Blood Runners, Beds and Herts Group.
Volunteers are on call 24/7 to use their own motor bikes to transport blood, frozen milk and organs for transplant to all the local hospitals and hospices as required, and this is carried out free of charge.
There is no charge to participate, nor any charge for visitors. The fundraising is achieved purely from the sale of refreshments, sale of raffle tickets, children's tombola and from the collection boxes placed around the church
Refreshments will be available throughout the festival weekend.
We look forward to welcoming visitors.
