Beliefs
The Shillington Congregational Church is a Christian Church with a broad witness.
Preachers from many traditions have regularly conducted the services.
We have an open pulpit tradition.
Ministry
The current minister Angus McCormick is non-stipendiary and part-time.
He was ordained according to Presbyterian order in 1971, trained at Manchester University and has worked fulltime in education since 1977.
He has held ministries in Northern Ireland and various parishes in England as well as having served overseas and as a TA chaplain for many years.
He was recognised as a Congregational minister in 2004.
Deacons assist the minister in his daily duties.
